Blue Scarf

The "Blue Scarf" is a Quarterly Periodical of the College of Readers.

Copies of "Blue Scarf" (including back copies) can be obtained from the Editor, at £1 each plus 2nd class postage.

Each issue of "Blue Scarf" usually contains: EDITORIAL; FROM THE CHAIRMAN; NEWS ITEMS; EVENTS (for both CoR and others); BISHOP'S BRIEFING; . . . FROM THE COMMITTEE; LETTERS; BOOK REVIEWS; DEVOTIONAL ITEMS; TEACHING; INTERCESSIONS; SEASONAL ARTICLES. There are also details of concessions available to CoR Members and items available to purchase.

Spring 2000
Being the very first edition of 'Blue Scarf' there were only a few items, the main feature being a tribute to Bishop Michael Houghton, who put so much work into the setting-up of the College of Readers prior to his sudden and unexpected death on Saturday 18th December 1999. There was also an account, written by a member of CoR, of Bishop Michael's funeral, which took place at Bristol Catherdral on Thursday 30th December 1999.
